Clean Planet Technology is a soil remediation company like no other, we can remediate and recover oil currently being thrown into landfills. Our mission is to reduce and eventually eliminate the need for many class 2 landfills by treating hydrocarbon laden soils onsite. Our proprietary process recovers over 99% of hydrocarbon content and returning soils that meet or exceed Alberta Tier 1 guidelines.

We designed our soil and sand remediation processes and products with cost efficiencies in mind. We aim to reduce hauling, disposal and operational costs for clients. In order to effectively do this; we have designed it to be semi-permanent or mobile and cost competitive with landfills.

DRILLING

Infield treatment of oil sands/invert cuttings, a unit can be shared by multiple drilling rigs. Reducing hauling transport costs and providing materials for lease construction, road maintenance, etc.

MINING

We can treat hydrocarbon coated mining tailings and get them to Alberta tier 1 specifications without large tailings ponds and or excessive water consumption.

COMPLETIONS

We treat flowback fluids and sands; and return clean dry sand and potable water for use on future fracs.

CIVIL WORKS

Our unit can be used to remove hydrocarbons from recovered gas station sites or any other reclamation projects.

PRODUCTION

Produced sands that come with heavy oil and oil sands production can be cleaned and reused by the operator for maintenance, fracturing or other applications. The remediated sands meet or exceed Alberta Tier 1 guidelines.

our process is ideally suited for remediating coastline and desert spills. Our unit requires little fresh water and is self-contained for use in environmentally sensitive areas.
